I don't know if this is real or not, but I thought I would post someone who fit 22" wheels on an old Mustang. In addition to the wheels you also get:

"2 12's and 2 10's in the trunk, interior in good shape. Will needs tow."

All for $5500 on Craig's List! A little too much wheel for me.

I wonder what mods he had to do to get those things to fit...
You're assuming they fit. I'm guessing we're looking at full lock steering in the photo. In fact, the "needs tow" is probably because the owner remembered too late that he lives on a dead end street. :(

Wrecks to Riches put's the ugliest wheels on their cars - but they seem to "sell" every last one of them to same guy on every show so it must be what he likes to run - Freakin UGLY if you ask me

The best wrecks to riches moment has to be when they hacked up the stock torino. If all they did was sell the car right after they got it, it would have made money but I was glad to see them buy it back at the end because it didn't get high enough. :nice:

That thought never occurred to me! But how right you are! It would have been hard to fill the hour up though if they just drove the car transporter to the auction house and called it a day.

Just goes to show you youngins' out there, don't cut up original cars in exceptional condition to make a "restomod" thinking you will make a bundle! Even at a price-inflating auction the chances are slim that you will recover your bling-bling money. Start with something rough or bare if you plan on replacing or modifying everything then fill your boots!
