Which ones of those sizes should I go with on a 17x9" rim? I don't want to run 275 cause I think it's too big of a size or 245 cause it's too small so I want the one in the middle(255) but don't know if I should go with 45 or 40. Thanks.

Thanks guys. I should've said this earlier but this will be for the front tires. I will be running 315/35 17(Nitto Drs) in the rear. I just don't want the fronts to look like they have too much sidewall compare to the rears, if you know what I mean. Thanks again. :nice:

Whether you go with 255 or 245, get a 45 aspect ratio. That will fill the wheel well up like a 245/45 will.

245/45/17
Sidewall height: 4.34"
Rolling diameter: 25.66"

255/45/17
Sidewall height: 4.51"
Rolling diameter: 26.02"

255/40/17
Sidewall height: 4.01"
Rolling diameter: 25.03"

I have the 255/45's on the front of mine, and I can't tell the difference in sidewall height with the 275/40's in the rear. I agree with those who say a 45-series will fill-up the wheel well better. Plus the ride might be a little less harsh since there will be more sidewall give on a 45 than a 40 over bumps. On the other hand, I don't think a 275 looks too wide for the front. In fact I think it looks awsome.
