275/35R18 tire on a 18x9 rim?

Anyone have or know of how this size tire works or looks on a 18x9 rim? I was going to put a 265/35R18 on this size rim, but I am having a hard time finding the size in what I want to buy. I have heard that a few people have put the 275 on instead. Just looking for some input.

Yes it will fit and look fine, even up front. most peopel run a 275 all around. I ran a 265 up front and a 285 out back on my 18x9's. DONT GO ANY LOWER THAN A 275 IN THE REAR OR IT WIL LOOK TOO SMALL

DO A SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have already done the search, it seems there are alot of people that like the 265 and some who hate it and like the 275. It seems like its nearly a toss up though. Does anyone have any good pics with the 265 and/or the 275?

Trust me. do a 275 all around, and if you want go bigger in the rear. but dont put a 265 on your rear tire, it will look tiny and wont fill the wheel well out. a 265 up front is fine.

next time i'm getting 275/35's up front and keeping my 285's in the rear.

I would go with a 265/35 up front I had this discussion with another member a couple weeks ago and he went for the 275 and hated them because they stuck out of the fenderwell. He had pics up as well Ill look for the thread. Most fords with them wheels stocks come with 265s up front and 295s in the rear.

I have 255/40s and 295/35s and they look good too.

The front is all i'm worried about. I have 18x10's for the rear and plan on going with 295/35 tires. Thanks for the info. :nice:

Well, despite what dope 97 gt says, i've seen plenty of stang siwth a 275 tire up front and they've been fine. You didnt mention you had 18x10s for the rear. a 295 will look nice on them. as for the front, go 265 if you want, either one will look fine, but my suggestion is to stay away from a falken tire. thats what i have in a 265 and they actually bow IN from the wheel.. looks too small for the wheel, but i cant do much about it now and my car sits so low it doesnt matter now anyway, you barely notice it.

I'd do what BigChiefSmokem said.. I've got the same tire sizes as well on my 18x9" FR500's and it looks great!

The 265/35's all around looked a little wimpy, so I threw some fatter meats in the rear and left the 265's up front and man it looks awesome!

Here's my old stang. 18x9's with 275/35 up front and 18x9's with 285/35 out rear.

Here's my current ride. 18x9's with 265/35 up front and 18x10's with 295/35 out rear.

From a person that has had both setup's, the 265 and 295 combo is the best IMO. When I had the 275's on the front on my other stang, it tracked alot especially when there were ruts in the road.
