I bought my first new car in 1980 and it was a 1980 Mustang 2.3 Turbo hatch/sunroof with TRX suspension and 4-speed manual. I have had 8 more Fox chassis Mustangs since then (all with 5.0s and manual transmissions, except one); new t-top 5.0 GT in 1984, new convertible 5.0 Mustang GT in 1986 (still have it with 34k miles and lots of mods), 11k mile stock 1986 convertible GT 5.0 in 2004, a NOS 5.0 86 GT hatch, a 1986 UTAH SSP, a 1986 LX coupe, a 1986 Georgia State Patrol SSP, 1990 convertible 5.0 LX w/auto and 45k original miles (bought 2 weeks ago). I just have the 2 right now, but had 4 at the same time 3 years ago. I also had (for about 2 weeks) a 69 Mach I in 2007 that I dug out of a field where it had sat since 1978. Hope to make some new friends here and learn some more about the wonderful world of Mustangs. I live in Shoreview, MN and frequent car shows in MN and western, WI.
