I got charged $300 labor to replace both of my wheel bearings, carrier bearings, pinion seals, axel seals, shims, races,..you know, the rear end rebuild kit..car drives amazing now..but did I pay too much?? or is $300 a good deal? I had the rearend guy from my local dealer do the work.

well I am not "good friends" with the guy..but I mean, Ive gone out with him a few times to have some drinks...also can someone chime in on a longtube header+shorty xpipe install? (BBK) how much should he charge me to do that..a good price...car is a 02 vert.

Well, headers are a PITA and the X-pipe should take him 15 minutes on the lift if he's done a midpipe swap before. I think since the K-member has to be dropped ot get those headers in, he might charge you a good 200-250 for install if not a bit more.
