Well, so I've read lots of threads and people with mods similair to mine are getting around 300rwhp. I should be about that right? And out of curiosity, what would that equate to @ the crank in my auto stang?
sorry to say it, but if you have a stock auto you looking at needing from 368-378 flywheel depending on variables to put down 300 at the wheels
you guys know of any good reading for me on air/fuel ratio's and timing adjustements.....My sniper stuff comes in the mail tomorrow and I'll start proceeding cautiously so I can get my car up and going. It's really flat on it's face right now and undriveable, I know I'll need to adjust a bunch.... any tips or rules of thumb?
14.7-1 @ idle and light cruize. Should dip closer to 13-1 as you get closer to WOT and should stay flat @ 13-1 @ WOT. As far as timing, I have no idea...but I would guess 22*s would be a good starting point and adjust up 2*s at a time until you hear a little pinging and back off 2-3 *s...thats how Tim set mine if I recall correctly. (on the N/A tune LOL...not now, its nowhere close to that point)
Providing you have the stock driveshaft, stock 4R70W, and stock accessories, if you have 300 RWHP, your engine is putting out 355 HP at the flywheel according to the formula I have. People really have to stop saying that auto's eat 20% of the power and standards eat 15%. That is completely wrong. With the mods in your sig, you will be hard pressed to reach 300 RWHP with those mods and your auto transmission.
