351 idles fine dies when in gear

hey i have a 69 cougar 351 4 barrel with msd ignition,blastercoil and 6a box..its a new setup but for some reason when i start it, it runs fine but as soon as i go to throw it in gear and go it chugs and dies right away..any ideas

check for any sort of a vacuum leak... normally that will cause the stalling. check around the intake manifold.

What is your engine idle speed in park? In gear?

sounds like the timing may be a little too retarded, try advancing it some.
