So heres the deal I have a worn out 351 w its been gone through twice from what i was told and also it has a crack in the valley. Anyways instead of trowing it in the junk pile. i was thinking of putting it to use in my "man Cave" and turn it into a coffe table. started on it a week or so got it tore down and ready to paint it. I plan on having pics soon. Anyways just wanted to get everyones opinion. tell me what ya'll think

If i had one, i'd do it.

I'd blast it down to bare metal. clean it up and then either paint it up nicely, or coat it with clearcoat or poly to keep it from rusting. Get a nice oval or round peice of glass cut, bevel the edges, create some padded feet on the block and perfect man-cave table!

By the way i plan on using the carb and breather as a candy dish. i was going to use the intake but cant find any one wanting to cut a hole for the carb to go through. so i'll just sit the carb on top of the glass. i also plan on using some chevy pistons for cup holders since the only thing there good for is sinkers and paper weights. ha ha ha

I had found this site a while back. Not everything is car related, but they do have some cools tuff like the shelby trunk lid bench, or the steering wheel end tables. It has some good ideas that could be replicated at home with junk, or spare parts.
