dont skimp on the heads gt40s arent gonna cut it
I didn't read all of the replies, so it may have been covered. The E cam will pass CA smog without issue.
for this type of deal i would do a 347 over a stock 351w rebuild. block strength wont be an issue naturally aspirated and limited by gt40 upper. the 347 would be faster assuming the same top end ect.
