393 W stroker people look !

iam planing on building a 398 its going to be .060 over ,going in a pick up.rods are 6.200 C/H is 1.355 .do i have to notch the block ,like you do a 408. this is my towing truck. plan on running dish pistons to get compression down.right now i'am running 10.7 to 1 with rpm heads ,want to run reg pump gas.i think i need a -30cc dish ,going hyper pistons,anyone got a good link to a kit. cheapo ones ok! thanks

You will need to notch the cylinders still.

I know I can get a cast Probe kit for around $1000, and it comes with good parts.

Probe 3.85" Cast Steel Crankshaft
Probe 5.956" Rods
Probe FPS Forged Pistons
Moly File Fit Rings
Clevite rod and main bearings

well if i still got to notch block might as well go 408 them..i called pro power ,,the 418 kits are only aval. in flat tops...i haven't checked to see if anyone else might have them in dished piston..i want lots of torque.. 9.1 to 9.5 c-r.
