3G alt and electric cooling fan install

Well after about a month of research I finally completed my install of a new 3G alternator and cooling fan with out much trouble. I installed in yesterday and then had a small problem, I didnt use the right connector for the black and white and the AMP light on the gauge kept blinking, also I didnt upgrade my engine to chassis ground until today which also helped a lot! I used a 4 gauge wire to ground the engine to chassis which made a huge difference! Before I grounded it, if the car was idling with the fan on plus head lights and heater, the volts were around 12.5 to 13 but with the ground wire with fan on etc the volts read around 13.5 and 14.5.

I am very pleased with the install, the car feels a bit quicker and more responsive, I also just got back from a long drive on a mix of highways and back roads in the sun and the fan was cooling the car great, I used a tarus electric fan from a junk yard.

So thanks to everyone on this forum, most of my research was done here.
