So...what's the best way to clean the lifters on the 4.6? I currently have them soaking in solvent. Should I use compressed air to blow out the solvent? They sure don't compress very much...maybe one sixtenth of an inch. How much should they compress? I know to soak them in oil prior to installation in the heads. Any other tips or tricks about lifters is much appreciated. Thanks.
