4 lug bolt circle

I am looking at a set of rims for my '91 lx. The guy who has them says they are 3.5" center to center and thinks my '91 is 3" center to center. The rims are off an "older" Mustang, but I don't know what year. Is the '91 3.5"? I don't have the car here to check. Thanks...

Your bolt pattern is 4 x 4.25" or 4 x 108 in Millimeters

The older 1st gen 4-lug Mustangs were 4 x 4.5" or 4 x 114.3
