I'm a little short of 450 rwhp but at 432rwhp/432rwtq through a 5 speed, it is close and it was CHEAP!
Here is my combo:
393w with cast Crank and stock truck rods (~10.7:1)
Out of the box Victor Jr. Heads for solid roller
Cam Motions .620 solid roller
Victor Jr. Intake
Mighty Demon 750 out of the box
MAC 1 3/4" Long tubes, 3" MAC Prochamber
On 100% 93 octane pump gas with 32 degrees of timing, it made 432 rwhp at 5700rpm and 432rwtq at 4500. It made over 400rwtq at 3500 which is close to where we layed into it. It is instant torque.
I can drive the car anywhere on pump gas and run solid 10s on motor in street trim. I also put a 150 shot on it but have not sprayed it yet (need to get back to the dyno). With the 150 shot on it, that is about max for the truck rods. I would have preferred good rods and a forged crank but I got this motor for a really good price. It will still go easy 9s with good gas in it. A LOT of fun with a 5 speed.
If I ever want more power on the motor, I can always have the heads ported, go with a larger cam and move up to an 850 carb.
For now, it is Cheap and does everything I want it to do.
For comparison purposes, I had a stroker 302 that made 400 RWHP, 380RWTQ and it ran 10.69 on the motor. 450-500 rwhp is a LOT of NA horsepower. The 432/432 motor I have now is my favorite (especially for the money), and I used to have a 977rwhp 1991 coupe with a turbo and a 5 speed
