5.0 Emblem Question

Will the 93 and older style "5.0" emblems go directly in place of the GT ones on my 94. I really like the look of the 5.0 emblems better than the cartoonish GT. Do they cover up the marks made over the years by the GT emblem well, or would it need paint there?

I know 94SC50 and Oink have done this but not sure of anyone else.

Also, how do you go about removing the stock emblems.

There is a hole in the 94+ fenders. The 5.0 emblems just stick on but i'm not sure if they are big enough to cover the hole in the fender

Yeah I used them to cover the hole in my fender.

i used some rope. i ripped through the little peg with the rope.

I took off the fender and pushed them through and use dental floss to saw them.

i used a blow dryer to heat up the sticky stuff an they popped right off, i worked at a body shop for a while an that is how we did it there except they had some special blow dryer thing that got real hot real fast.

17" Cobras and Kevin the brake kit came from PPI for like $399 everything included. I had no shipping b/c it was local.

what do you mean everything? just the like calipers and stuff... i mean since you already had the cobra brakes it wasn't like the whole conversion baer sells for like a grand right?

It's the front caliper kit includes rotors, calipers, pads, banjo bolts, crush washers, and brake lines.

Yeah I used a blow dryer to get mine off. Then I use just alittle bit of gas to get all the sticky stuff off. I have the 99+ GT emblem on mine. I love them.
