Okay im putting a 1998 explorer motor in my 88 GT and i need to upgrade from the speed density. My question is can i use the xz3 cobra computer from a 93 mustang cobra, with a 80mm stock cobra Mass air meter and 24 pound injectors? Or can i just use a stock 89-93 GT computer with the 24 pound injectors and 80 mm mass air flow sensor? Thanks

there are three ways you can run the 24's
1) use the cobra items you listed
2) use an aftermarket MAF calibrated for 24's(there is some debate on how well this works)
3) keep the stock A9 computer and have it tuned for 24's
pick the one that will be easiest for you. I personally like the idea of using the cobra computer/MAF to run the injectors.
