  1. are there any internal parts to the 5.4 that are the same as the 4.6?

  2. Same pistons. Rods and crank are different.

  3. forged 5.4, ported trick flow heads, tork tech kit w/ the 5.4 spacers :D

Someday that will be in my gt. someday lol

  9. Dude try it this way. In your Photobucket album, click the pic you want to post here, and look to the right of the page, there will be a few boxes for posting pics, click the one that has the IMG code and copy and paste it in here

    EDIT: Looks good dude!

  13. Wow! Thats pretty sweet! Like how it fits under the hood. :nice: Do you think the single blade t-body is holding it back at all?

  14. thanks 98cobra no i havent got any passes yet but im bout to get some drag radials and im hoping in the 7.60s to 7.90s depending on how good i can drive with that stock shifter it may be faster but for now those r resonalbe times for me i drive it everyday so its quick enough for now next thing coming is k member set up and change out the headers for better set and x pipe i think its should be a good bit faster

  15. Yes. The only difference between the 4.6 and 5.4 is the deck height and longer stroke. No actual specs in front of me, but for explanation sake, the 4.6 is basically a 3.55 bore x 3.55 stroke; 5.4 3.55 bore x 4.10 stroke. Longer stroke = more displacement. Makes for insane amounts of torque over the 4.6, but its not exactly a rev happy motor like the 4.6 is. I may still go with my build, but I'm not sure. I have a bare block and all timing components. Doing suspension and brakes and such then I'll decide what I want to do. I want a balanced car.
