5 lug swap worth it?

a 5 lug swap is badass, and I've never fealt a fox stop so damn well in my life, however the only real way to do it is with the sn95 parts, and you're going to pay more in parts than it'll increase the value of the car.

I think it will definatley increase the value but the correct way that you have to do it will be pricey as well as now you have to go out and get 5 lug wheels and possibly tires. Overall if i am buying another Foxbody mustang I would love to buy it with the Lug Coversion done which it would add value to me in buying it, but the last post is right the overall cost to you outta pockect my off set the value you build in to the car !

It may help sell the car, but it won't add value to it. I love my Notchback. Never thought I would like driving it more, just because I have a better set of wheels on it. But I do!!!!!

thanks for the replies. ive got the parts in the garage and as soon as the weather breaks the project will start, regardless.

Hopefully you opted for the Cobra/Bullitt/Mach1 PBR calipers.

i didn't include wheels i paid 1300 for my wheels but to do the swap i had about 150 bucks in it.....front rotors off a mark 5 or 7 at the parts store and i had a machine shop fill and redrill my rear axels.... it was the easiest thing i ever did and it stops great i dont understand why you need sn95 parts?? unless you have a 89 or older i think then you need a lot more stuff

I don't understand why you wouldn't need SN95 parts. The whole point of 5-lug kit is to upgrade the brakes. If you get the Lincoln rotors you are just downgrading the brakes by adding more rotational weight. The stock fox brakes are bad enough.

SN95 parts let you run decent brakes and you can choose any wheel combiation. You are limited with the Lincoln rotors. You couldn't run the wheels I have.
