    This is a BIG year for the Ronald McDonald House of Tulsa! We are celebrating 25 years of generosity to sustain our endearing cause for our children and families in need. On Thursday, September 25, 2014, at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma will be this year’s signature fundraising event for the House, the silver anniversary of the McDazzle Fun Ball!

    We are not the only one celebrating a major milestone. The Ford Mustang automobile is turning 50 years old and thanks to our friends at Bill Knight Ford, we will be raffling a 50th Anniversary Ford Mustang GT 5.0. This limited edition is an all new design and only one of 1,964 automobiles manufactured. Justin Moore, ACM New Artist of the year who will be performing at McDazzle will pull the lucky ticket that night! You do not need to be present to win!

    Official 2014 Contest Rules of the 50th Anniversary Mustang Car Raffle

    1. Official Contest Rules. These are the official rules (hereafter the “Official Contest Rules.”) for the 50th Anniversary Ford Mustang Drawing Contest (the “2014 Contest”) sponsored by the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Tulsa, Inc. (the “Charity”).

    2. Eligibility. The 2014 Contest is open to anyone 18 years or older, excluding board members, committee members, employees of the Charity Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Tulsa, Inc., household members of any such board member, committee member or employee, and any of its advertising agencies, or affiliates, or subsidiaries of such advertising agencies (hereinafter referred to as “Eligible Person”) (each Eligible Person who enters the 2014 Contest is sometimes referred to herein as “Contestant”).

    3. Sponsor of Contest. The 2014 Contest is sponsored by the Charity, which is Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Tulsa, Inc., located at 6102 S. Hudson Ave, Tulsa, OK 74136.

    4. Agreement to Abide By Official Contest Rules. Each Eligible Person who enters the 2014 Contest is a “Contestant.” Contestant agrees that his or her entry into the 2014 Contest operates as the Contestant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Contest Rules. Also, by entering the 2014 Contest, the Contestant hereby agrees to perform all conditions and obligations required by these Official Contest Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

    5. 2014 Contest Period. The 2014 Contest begins on May 19, 2014 and ends at or about 9 pm CST on September 25, 2014 (“2014 Contest Period”). The winning ticket will be physically drawn on September 25, 2014 on or about 9 pm CST.

    6. How to Enter. Any Eligible Person may enter the 2014 Contest by obtaining an official numbered contest ticket (“Contest Ticket”) from the Charity during the 2014 Contest period. Contest Tickets may be obtained in the following manner: (1) visiting www.rmhtulsa.org to register email address and purchase tickets using the online form, (2) submitting a request via mail to the Charity at the address listed above, or (3) by calling 918-496-2727 x 222 and purchasing tickets over the phone. Anyone purchasing tickets either via phone or website will be mailed a Contest Ticket. Contest tickets are $100 each. 2500 tickets will be available for purchase.

    7. Purchasing tickets online. By agreeing to these official rules you agree and understand that you are requesting ticket(s) through the internet. Your request will be fulfilled by receiving your numbered ticket(s) through the US mail.

    8. Winner Need Not Be Present to Win. The Grand Prize Winner of the 2014 Contest does not need to be present at the drawing in order to win. If the Grand Prize Winner is not present at the drawing, the Charity will make a reasonable effort to contact the Grand Prize Winner by telephone and/or email. If unsuccessful, the Charity will notify the Grand Prize Winner in writing by certified, return receipt U.S. Mail sent to the address provided by the Grand Prize Winner.

    9. Grand Prize. The grand prize is a 50th Anniversary Ford Mustang, VIN (will post when known) (“Grand Prize”). The contestant selected as the winner of the 2014 Contest will receive ownership of and legal title to the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize has an appraised value approximated at $60,000. However, the Charity takes no responsibility for providing the actual value of the Grand Prize, and the Contest Prize Winner must satisfy himself or herself of the Grand Prize’s actual value for purposes of assessing the costs that the Contest Prize Winner must pay in order to take possession, title, and ownership of the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize is nontransferable and non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded. If the winner does not want the Grand Prize, Bill Knight Ford has the right to retain possession of the vehicle free and clear of any Contestant’s claim or right to the vehicle, notwithstanding the Contestant’s participation in the Contest. The Grand Prize does not include taxes, license, title costs, tag costs, registration fees, or delivery or transportation costs. Instead, the Contest Grand Prize Winner shall be responsible for the payment of all taxes, licensing fees, title costs, tag costs, registration fees, delivery or transportation costs, and any other costs associated with taking possession of and owning the Grand Prize.

    10. Selection of Grand Prize Winner. One Grand Prize Winner will be selected from all Contestants as follows: On September 26, 2014, at approximately 9 pm CST, the Charity Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Tulsa, Inc. will hold a drawing and randomly select one Contest Ticket from among all submitted and accepted Contest Tickets. The Contestant owning the selected Contest Ticket will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner. If there is more than one name on the Contest Ticket, the Grand Prize will be awarded to the first named Eligible Person on the Contest Ticket. It is the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner in a multiple party entry to allocate any prize among the participants in the multiple party entry. The drawing will be held as scheduled, regardless of the number of Contest Tickets procured. All drawing and Grand Prize Winner selection results are final. The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of Contest Tickets issued and received. The Grand Prize winner will be posted on our website at www.rmhulsa.com by October 1, 2014.

    11. Certificate of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. The Grand Prize Winner must sign a certificate of eligibility and liability/publicity release (substantially in the form attached hereto) and return it to the Charity on or before October 27, 2014 in order to be able to receive the Grand Prize.

    12. Publicity. Acceptance of the Grand Prize constitutes permission for the Charity and/or its designees to use the Grand Prize Winner’s name, hometown, photograph, testimonial or other likeness and/or Grand Prize information or personal exposition (and/or any edited portion thereof) for promotional, advertising and/or publicity purposes in any media, now or hereafter know throughout the world in perpetuity, without compensation or notice to, or further consent of, the Grand Prize Winner to the extent permitted by law.

    13. Release. By accepting the Grand Prize, winner agrees to release The Charity and its respective directors, trustees, employees, officers, agents, sponsors, attorneys, advisors, and vendors (the Released Parties) including without limitation, their advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, operation, and/or use or misuse of their prize or participation in any prize-related activities.

    14. Limitations of Liability. Except where prohibited, each Contestant agrees that the Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Contestants or printing errors; (b) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the 2014 Contest; (c) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the 2014 Contest or the processing of entries; or (d) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Contestant’s participation in the 2014 Contest or receipt of any prize.

    15. Disputes. Except where prohibited, each Contestant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the 2014 Contest or any prize awarded there under, other than the administration of the 2014 Contest or the determination of winners, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, USA; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the 2014 Contest, but shall not include in no event attorney’s fees; and (c) under no circumstances will Contestant be permitted to obtain awards for and Contestant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than the actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Contest Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Contestant and Charity in connection with the 2014 Contest shall be determined in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of rules (whether of the State of Oklahoma or any other jurisdiction).

    16. The accounting firm of BKD, LLP located at 6120 S. Yale Ave, Suite 1400 Tulsa, OK will collect all raffle tickets and keep secure until they deliver the physical raffle tickets to Cox Business Center for the drawing of the Grand Prize on September 25, 2014.

    17. Refunds. No refunds for Contest Tickets purchased. Any orders for Contest Tickets submitted after 12 p.m. CST on September 25, 2014, shall be deemed null and void and any monies submitted in connection with the same shall be refunded. Ticket cost is not tax deductible.
