Rangoon Red with red standard interior. This car was originally a Vegas car, which was pulled out of storage when I bought it about 5 or 6 years ago. The car sat in storage in vegas since about 1985. This is a very original car, and a very easy restoration project. Here are the high points: 65 Mustang fastback C-Code 289 4 speed manual Factory AC Rally Pac Gauges Power Steering/manual brakes Vintage Hurst Shifter Mostly original interior. Door panels, sunvisors and glove box liner have been replaced. Original seats, headliner and carpet. New Wheels and Tires The car was painted in the early 80’s but it was a “Maaco” type paint job. It needs stripped and done right. The lacquer has shrunk up and spider cracked in spots. There are a few minor dents and dings that can be easily fixed when painted. The engine was replaced at some point with an early 70’s 302. I have a 289 that needs rebuilt that I will include with the car. This car has a few problems, but they are minor. It needs a tune-up, it has a leak from one o the power steering fittings, it could use new carpet on the floor, and really needs a basic restoration. but you don't get a much easier restoration than this.
