This is the ad from the previous owner with my phone number added.

This is an "S" code, highly optioned 390 GTA 1967 Mustang fastback that has achieved its current state over the course of several years of loving restoration. It has spent the majority of the last 15 years in the garage of an elderly gentleman who recently passed away. This was obviously his "baby". Piece by piece, it was restored. Please take the time to look over every detailed pictured and listen/watch all the video clips. This is a quality driver ready to enjoy on the road, or in your garage.

Silver metallic base/clearcoat paint is not a flawless job, but is very presentable. Shows no chips, scratches or bubbles. The paintwork was completed around 5 years ago and done right. Lots of metallic sparkle in this shade. The fenders, doors, trunk lid, and hood were removed and prepped prior to paint. The original quarter panels show no rust. Inner troughs and under skin is still intact too. Roofline is perfect and contoured. Doors shut tight, gaps are all correct. All rubber has been replaced, including the trunk lid seal, door seals, window felt and vent rubber. All glass is in very good condition. The sides are straight, hood is straight. There is a notable, shallow quarter sized ding on the windshield washer vent piece, driver’s side. Factory VIN stamping on drivers side fender matches car. This Mustang retains all original body panels. The core support is straight and smooth showing no previous accidents. Chrome bumpers are excellent front and rear, guards are very nice. Wheel lip moulding is all new. Aluminum bottom trim on sides of car is straight and smooth. Look lower; you'll see the body lips are also straight, still showing factory creases. The fog lights, headlights, turn signals (including the hood indicators), and brake lights are all functional. Stance is straight and even. Sits on steel styled Mustang wheels with good tires.
The original 390 4V was replaced with a high performance 289 4V balanced and blueprinted assembly with over 400 horsepower. This motor sports a full roller valve train with many extras. Excellent cam grind with a great sound. Highly responsive throttle.

Cylinder heads are aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM series. Ignition fires through an MSD pro-billet distributor to a Blaster 2 coil. MSD 6AL ignition box. Tall Ford Motorsport polished valve covers. The Ford Motorsport breather has mild surface rust pitting. Induction is done with an Edlebrock performer RPM Intake topped with a Holley 750 double pumper 4 bbl. carb. Fuel lines on the carb are braided steel with anodized fittings. Equipped with Holley electric fuel pump and chrome canister fuel filter professionally mounted behind the gas tank. 1/2-inch fuel feed line to carb. Exhaust breathes through full-length headers. Dual exhaust runs out the back under the rear valence exits

Tilt steering wheel- fully functional
A/C- all lines, hoses, and heater box is there, compressor is not mounted; don't know if this compressors bracket is from the original 390 or the current engine. A/C fan blows strong on all speeds. Heater works well.
Power front disc brakes stops good, fully functioning
Power steering- no longer installed on this car

Blue interior shows well. Wood grain Pony accented, overhead console, floor console. Dash is smooth and crack free. All original gauges are functional except the clock. Odometer is functional. Aftermarket tachometer is center column mounted. Bucket seating is nice, however the drivers seat has cracked vinyl along the upper left side bolster. Fold down rear seat in good condition. Correct blue carpeting is all intact, does shows some staining. Aftermarket AM/FM CD sounds good, speaker box in the rear. Trunk back and back interior panel have never been cut. All interior panels are intact. Door panels are presentable, showing light fade on the top edges. Under doors are clean and rust free. All interior lighting is functional, including door lights, floor lights, rear accent lights, overhead console lights. Dash lighting works. Vent windows swing open; quarter panel vents open and close well. Overall a very original interior in good shape

Under an auto-lift inspection, you can see that the underbody is all intact and in exceptional shape, This life long southern Stang still shows original floor pans! Frame rails are very good. You can see where a jack has rested under one of them at some point. Rear rails are smooth showing no repair or rust issues. No alterations, cutting or welding has taken place underneath this car. Rear swing outs still show the correct factory nuts welded for dual exhaust. All bushings look very good. A light underbody detail will showcase the undercarriages exceptional condition.

Open the trunk, you'll find the original trunk pad and gas tank insulation piece. Original pan shows no rust or repair. Inside of quarter panels are smooth without filler or repair. Trunk shuts tight, even gap. Rear tail light panel has louvered black piece that stretches from light to light.

This is a solid car to invest in and enjoy. If you'd like to discuss the car, call 606 474-9434. Price is 25K
