'69 Tire Size

Stock fastback, 302 2bbl w/auto, std rear end, presumably standard wheels. What tire size is preferred? What's on there now is 205/75-14's. Car has been stored 6+ years and while the Armstrongs that are on there look OK, I seem to recall my old '79 Ford truck that sat for most of the year and finally, had three flats within a couple of weeks of one another. The tread literally split around the circumference of the tire from rot.

stock size would be either 215-70-14 (e-70-14) or 225/70-14 (f-70-14)

personally i would go with the 225/70-14's
