Confession: I've been pretty much a Pontiac only guy for the last 25 years.... but, I've loved the look of the 79 Pace car since I first saw one in 1978. Found one parked out in the boonies here in Texas last weekend, owner wants $800... but, after restoring a few oddball Pontiacs I figured I'd ask the big question:

How rare are resto parts for a pace car? Figure 80% is standard mustang stuff, it's the interior cloth and front spoiler/fog lights/etc that is missing that might present the biggest challenge....

thoughts?

darn early foxes are considered classics now.

a bit OT, but I wonder if we will eventually move from being "classics" to changing the nomenclature. Since the earliest classic is 38 years old.
