How do I remove this? I want to remove it so I can repaint it but I'm afraid of stripping the screws that hold it in. Is there another way of repaint the 5.0 logo?

I have a refurbished polished one with screws for $50 plus $5 for shipping if interested.

If you strip the screws just drill it out. You can get more screws at the yard.

just did mine. high temp rattle can in black to fill all the low areas and masked the high spots in painter tape to keep them clean. fine sandpaper on the bare metal high spots and then cleared the whole thing. looks brand new. prep it properly first.
