91 Aod To C4

I have a 1991 mustang lx 5.0 that right now has a aod in it and I'm wanting to switch to a c4 do I need to get a new driveline or can I get a spacer or something all info is appreciated.

The aod is longer then the c4 and my car I put a spacer in from maximum motor sports

I have a c4 in my car but I don't think I have this spacer in there.

You don't technically have to have it but with it in there you have more security of the driveshaft being fully seated into the transmission
