Any problems forseen with me transplanting a 92 gt longblock into my car? i blew my head gaskets and ran it with milkshake oil for a bit too long i think, and the rear main is leaking so i figured i can get this 50k longblock for 300 or spend way more to fix the old one....Any help is appreciated thanks!

It will work, you just have to use your timing cover, and remove the fuel eccentric off the timing chain so it will clear your timing cover.Use your accessories and intake also, unless your doing the fox tbody swap. You will also need your headers, unless you eliminated your egr.Im sure someone else will chime in soon.

Its on top of the timing chain where the camshaft is. Its actually the fuel pump eccentric. Its round and offset, you can't miss it.Im not sure if the 92 will have 1, but Ive heard some older 5.0's do. Anyways it wont fit under the 94-95 timing cover if so,so it has to be removed. Efi motors don't need it anyways, its for the block mounted fuel pumps.
