93 LX Vert - Top issues

For my father's day present the wife found and got me a 93 LX convertible. Needs some time and attention but it runs good and the top doesnt leak. However the top does not work by itself, you have to put it up and down by hand, so that is going to be the first order of business. When you flip the dash switch I can hear a click back by the vert motor but nothing happens. What should I look at as the culprit first?

the motor is behind the rear seat. sounds like a bad motor if you dont hear it. hit the boneyards plenty of verts there. All years use the same motor. If you find a 90 and up with good rear speaker assemblies hit me up! LOL
