one for sale in my area, thinking about scooping it up.

wondering how practical it is? he says it's already in there, but i'm wondering what complications might come up, other than driveline etc.

Not practical at all. First, the T-Bird IRS is about 7-8" wider than the 66 Mustang rear. Second, the IRS has a smaller bolt circle than the Mustang (5 X 4.25" VS 5 X 4.5"). I'm sure it would be WAY too much work to do it.

well i just got home from looking at the car.

he did an amazing job of engineering it!

he shortened it somehow and it tucks right in with 15x7 tires! the tubbed it to allow for the suspension swing.

only down side is that the stock gas tank will not fit due to the sway bar and new frame rails

other than that, it's phenomenal!

Could you post pictures? (I just happen to have a 91 Bird, but I don't know that I will kill a bird for a pony yet, as the pony has a 9in and the Bird has a 7.5 instead of an 8.8in. I must have been lucky on that one... but get 30MPG in the Bird)
