I bought a 94 GT thats had alot of issues i'm in the process of fixing..

It has a paxton S/C kit on the car... forged bottom end, gt40 heads.. edelbrock performer upper and lower intake.. etc...

I've decided to do some upgrades while i'm fixing the issues with the car..

I'm steping up to a 70mm throttle body... 42# injectors... walbro 255lph inline pump...

At this point, I'm not sure which MAF I should go with... Abaco was reccomended to me.. however, the $400 price tag is pretty high thouhg..

I'm not sure what to do with the FMU thats on the car...

Do I just goto the 4:1 disk kit that paxton offers with their kit.. or is there a newer/better way to ensure the car is getting enough fuel under boost?

Should the stock regulator be able to keep the fuel pressure high enough to provide enough fuel? Would it be better to ditch the stock fuel pressure regulator and goto an after market unit? Would I need to goto an after market fuel rail?

Bare with me, this is the first fuel injected car I've done lots of work.. to (outside of simple bolt-ons)

I am not someone who knows about boost but from what I have seen...being around.

Get a 90mm LMAF (cheap to find) and a tune and ditch the FMU totally, with a good tune you do not need it.

The 90mm LMAF would be my recommendation. You will need the car tuned to deal with the change in injectors and MAF. Stock FPR should be okay with the 255 lph Walbro. The FMU goes.

Buy Ford Racing Parts! , has the LMAF for 79 bucks , ditch the FMU since you wont need it with the larger injectors , but you will have to get a custom tune and chip burned for it

that lmaf might peg. You might want to look into a sct ba meter.

I also don't think the L meter will peg with that combo

To make that meter and those ... Big Ole Inj's ... play nice together ;)

You're gonna need a Pro Tuner to burn you a chip :(
    or
If you wanna self tune ... My first choice :nice: ... Always

You'll need an interface such as PMS, Tweecer, SCT, etc :)
    and
You'll need a wide band for accurate WOT fuel optimization :D

Is that a real word

anyway ... For max power :spot:

You gotta have one to ... Getter Done :rlaugh:

I think he could be at the edge of that Lightning with the GT40s given some nice cold weather or some intake or pulley mods.

If you're getting the thing tuned (great idea), the SCT 2400/2600 meter is a great priced unit and sized to grow, or get the Lightning and a MAF.ia to extend it if you find you need some more headroom.

+1 I went with a ba-3000 and i'm still N/A for now :) I have more than plenty of room to grow into my MAF.
