Once again i went to germany for vacation for last time this year :D

Some local GTO owned talked ***** hows his 05 GTO LS2 6.0L have 400HP from the factory and mine Stang came with 215HP from small 302
So i was like sure its true ,but did you know i'm not stock anymore ,he was like its still slow
We a few minutes after we are line up

    http://www.eriestreetmachines.com/video/gtovsstangstreetrace.wmv

BTW that at the end was my brother all happy (we had 2 cameras)

I was kinda hard on that tree :D

I tryed talk this guy to race my 96 Probe GT that we just finished turbo setup and its untuned (runs 10;1) but he was too scared i was like dude i will keep only 11psi he was hell no

Mods on GTO are unknown , all i know it does have expensive headers ,SLP exhaust but SLP was removed doe to loud sound and installed some quiet catback
He have some serious suspension mods done (road race suspension)
There is some unknown mods that put him in 380HP on Mustang dyno

I know we had some problems with flagger ,but if i leftearlyer thatgive GTO 1/3sec lol

NICE KILL! you tore him apart off the line

    On another note
who are you with a turbo probe in the NE... i had a ZE'd white 96... im 96gtze from probetalk... Gotta love the KL's.... You know corey and the other NPA crew.? i used to go to MD to run all the time coreys old f2t was fast.... hes got a 98 cobra now... i was toying with the idea of boosting my probe but i decided with the 10:1 compression and the tendency to drop valves that the ze has i couldnt really safely run over 7 psi on stock internals for a DD... but still that would of brought me in to mid 13's.... but i figured.... 13's are easier to hit with a stang... Are you running megasquirt on the probe???

    my probe thread...

Just watched this... and yeah, sorry Ernan but on Pinks you would have lost your car from the starting line. :rlaugh:

I think you still would have beat him... unless you get all excited seeing him closer and miss a gear or something.

    Good video....

Pinks they race their arms and hold them, then drop them when they are ready. The video was a fubared starter. He mixed the arms drop AND the arms going up way of starting. :nonono:

If I'm confident in a race, I wait until the other guy goes, no matter what the starter does. :nice:

YEah that starter was doing some wierd stuff. You point at one driver then point at the other to maek sure they are ready. Then you lift your arms and then drop them to start the race. Its not that hard.

Seen guys use that and guys use the arms at the side and a head nod to make sure they are ready, when the arms start coming up it's show time. They are left in the road standing like a cheerleader though. :rlaugh:

But either way, this dude did both ways mixed together, would have confused me as well. :p

Good video! I thought you were giving him a "car" when it turns out that you pulled up to the 'box. That would be funny. You could have given him a car or two and still got him. I don't know what rules you guys were using.; If it was the arms coming up, you holeshot him. If it was Pinks style, you "red bulbed". Sounds like you weren't doing it Pinks style, though.

I guess he'll listen the next time somebody says they are "not stock".

No one said you had to do it like Pinks or that you were trying to. What we all said was that your starter would have confused ANY of us. There are two styles to flag a race like this.... he MIXED the two styles. You went on the hands moving up, the GTO went on the hands going down which = about a car length and a frustrated driver.

No big deal.... it just another reason most of us take it to a track. :rlaugh:
