95 5.0 swap...can it be done?

I know the 96 and up 4.6L fits almost perfectly into the 99-04 but what about the 5.0? Do all the mounting brakets and everything match up? Is it compatible? I found a 5.0 and tranny for cheap i'm wondering if this swap can be done

Anything can be swapped, and the 5.0 swap is relatively simple. Why do you want to do this?

I dont understand why these questions are asked everyday... you can swap a 5.0 into a Harley if you wanted to.... not to be a dick, but if you have to ask that question, then the answer is no. "YOU" can not swap a 5.0 into your car

You just need a 5.0 k Member...A stock or aftermarket one will do.

The only reason i would do this swap is to support engine displacements beyond the 4.6/5.4. Also the ease of working on a pushrod motor. BTW if you think a 302 sounds good.....Listen to a stroked 351. (I have 6.3 emblems on my fender for a reason)

Also dont start hacking the car up just because you have a good tranny lying around. Make sure you want to go down that road.
