95 Gt Harness And Ecu In A Fox?

Not unless you are a Ford electrical genus.
The CCM module is an integral part of the computer and body wiring in a 94-95 GT and it controls a bunch of different stuff. There is no CCM in an 88 Mustang.

Do yourself a big favor and just replace the 88 harness with another one. The 95 EEC is TERRIBLE. The engine harnesses are different- example the coil and distributor. If your car is not MAF then you can't use the 95 EEC. Your car doesn't have air bags, elecric fans, a computer controlled trans (if auto) and so on .

edit- I see jrichker beat me to it.

I have an 88 gt that the engine harness is no good. Want to use a donor harness and ecu from a 95 gt. will that work? Only thing I see is the distribitor plug end is different. Thanks!

The engine harnesses are not compatible. The newer harness would not connect to the 1988 body harness.

Easiest swap harness would be to located another 86-87 or 1988 non-mass air harness.

If your car is a 1988 cali car with mass air, then you need to locate a 1989 mustang mass air harness.

Basically the 86-89 engine and body harness is compatible. In 1990 there were some changes that made it incompatible.
