95 GT problem

I have a 95 GT with just a stock 5.0 and ran into a problem the other day. i was on my way to work when not even 3mins after driving my car started sputtering acting like it was running out of gas but wasn't. i pulled it over and shut it off for a min then started it again. It idles fine but when i hit the throttle it shakes, makes a slight ticking noise(not that bad) and the rpm's act like they dont want to rise and made it almost impossible to drive. im hoping its prolly just a wiring or fuel problem but am not too familiar with this type of enigne. im highly doubting its internal with only 70k original miles. Does anyone have any input?

Check your spark plug wires. Sounds like you might have burnt through one, being you have a tick and a miss. That would be my first check.

Also check your fuel pressure. It should be over 30 PSI with the vacuum line connected.

it wouldn't be internal if there's absolutely no ticking or knocking at idle right?

Im sure your engine is fine, my guess is electrical or fuel related as Hissin suggested.
