Wanna know how my Stang gain 40lbs , then check this out

Well like everybody knows I had very bad, worn out driver seat in my Stang ,so in past a few months I was lookin for black leather Mustang seats but everybody wants 100s bucks for them ,so i'm like hell not, two weeks ago I find on jusk yard one 95 Lincoln Mark VIII with nice bad black leather seats, so I just boyght them because I didn't wanna lose them because guy was asking $30 for them, I couldnt beat that price (cheap junk yard and they know me over there)
So I was searching how I can wire power seats wiring harnes to my stock wires (Mark VIII seast have 21 wires on driver side and 9 o passanger side, Mustang have 2 wires on both driver and passanger side) this new seats are 10 way adjustable and they have 2 memory and they are heated so problem was big, BUT after a few days I figure out ,than I weld new brackets ONLY on front and leave rear brackets and drill new holes in the floor because of position off Mustang rear holes is too far under Mark's seats and CAN'T be reached
So here you go guys look at my progres, I think meybe i'm first who done this swap into Mustang

HERE is my whole progress with tons pics http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/358997/13

1st pics is how old and new seats looks like (both are driver side)
This 2nd pics is VERY old (when I bought my Stang like 22 months ago) so this driver seat was in bad shape a few days ago

Dollar for dollar, yeah it cant be beat. And yes, it prolly was a good thing for you to do. Im just saying if it were me I wouldt get something that looked more "right" for a mustang interior. Dont get me wrong, it was a good project for 30 bucks. :nice:

Looks fine to me. Just need to paint the interior black as well.

I have a mark8 as well and those seats are Much better then the Mustang ones. Much more firm.

Good project. Just get the grey painted inside as well.

I cant stand my half grey and half black interior. Why couldnt they just make up their damn mind on which color........

Definitily better then it was before, black carpet would help them not stand out as much.

your just jealous you dont have 10 way adjustable/heated seats lol

if the rest of the interior was also black, i think it would fit in better but i like it.

Definitely replace the carpet with black, and get a black/charcoal rear seat delete. That will make it look 10x better.

Ernan, you can buy a complete form fitted carpet for around $110, do that and a rear seat delet and you'll be set. Down the road take them back out and have an upholstery shop stitch something over the lincoln symbol or recover that section on the seat grey to match the rest of the car. All in all, that's not bad at all for $30!

Even though they do look out of place you got a great deal and will have a much more comfortable ride then before!!!! :nice:

If money is tight and you can't afford to change out the carpet and paint the grey interrior I would just invest in some nice light colored seat covers for now.

Now for the main question. How would you rate them comfort wise. I would like to know because my seats make my back sore after driving for more than an hour.

Looks nice! At least he didn't put CAMARO seats in his car. Lincoln is still Ford! :nice:
