I have a problem with the starting of my 95 mustang v6 automatic. Sometimes when its hot, it wont start. I replaced the starter to see if that was it. I drove it and then i turned it off. I turned it back on after turning it off and it didnt want to turn on. Then i would shift it in to N and it will start, something it will take it awhile but it starts. Then after like 10 or 15 minutes of sitting there off, it will start up just fine in park. What else could be casuing this if it not the starter? The starter i putted into it has a heat guard and its a high torque starter.

Couple of problems I see. More than likely the park/neutral safety switch. Could just need an adjustment. Ask your pal with the meter if he can help adjust it. If he has that meter, it could indicate he might know a little something. :D
