Mach 1 A question of Torque loss? Yay or Nay on Cats?

Alright guys my buddy is thinking of getting an MRT catback just like me, but he wasn't sure whether or not to get the Catted H Pipe or the non-catted version. I have the non-catted MRT h-pipe and that thing helps out with making the Mach sound incredibly bad ass. If I can't be the fastest in town, at least i know I sound the best. I'm sure the sound dosesn't differ too much with the cats on. He hates the sound of X Pipes. I know a car with stock cats or hi flo will see more TQ than a cat delete. A stock cat will hold more back pressure in the cylinder which will retain more cylinder pressure and increase your running compression which in turn builds more TQ at the cost of high rpm HP. Does anyone have any idea how much torque is lost and if its a significant amount or not? My guess that it can't be that much torque loss but I could be wrong which is why I'm asking you guys...
