About to redo my exhaust this week. Bye bye 3" 2 chambers! Need opinions please

Replacing these 3" 2 chamber mufflers (way too loud for the street!) with some long magnaflows. I'll be reusing the 3" flowtubes & 3" turndowns. Which way should i point the turndowns? Straight down or angled out some? Opinions please.

I got a freind with the old set up on his 65 mustang and it was so loud it rattled the dishes in the china cabnit when he started it in the basment garage. Needless to say his wife made him change some things since it cracked some off the china. Any ways he turned the dumps to the side and it did keep it from being louder cause the sound wasn't bouncing off the floor. You wouldnt want to sell your old set up would ya? I've been wanting to go louder and annoy my wife.haha

i'll sell the mufflers, but u can get em cheap from summit. $30 each. they are the thrush 2 chambers (sound exactly like flowmasters). i love the sound, just too loud for the streets out here in cali
