Accelerator pump tuning

I just installed a 4150 Holley double pumper on my 351 Windsor stroked to a 396. When I step on the pedal, the engine bogs down a bit and a crapload of black smoke comes out of the exhaust. I'm thinking the acc. pump needs adjusting. Does anyone have any other ideas or possible specs for a proper tune? Thanks!

Could also be incorrect jets, float level, or the mixture too rich. If you bought it new, the manual will have setup/tuning/troubleshooting info.
