So I came across a site that sells an adhesive backed vinyl stripe but they have been painted and clearcoated. They claim the stripe color match is as close to painted on stripes as you can get since they use a basecoad/clearcoat process to paint the vinyl stripes. Has anyone heard of these ACI paintfilm stripes? It sounds like a awesome concept..you can even polish the stripes along with the rest of the car. I'm very cautious of anything being sold based off of a photoshop. If they don't show you the real product, there's a reason.
I agree with Darkfire on this one. If you want vinyl stripes I'd contact a local shop. That way if you have problems you can go right back to them.
