AFR heads but what cam?

Hi all,
I'm building a 302 for a '71 Maverick I have. I've decided on the AFR 165's Non Emissions heads and a dual plane intake like a Performer RPM or a Weiand Stealth. But I can't decide on a cam. I'd like a some what lumpy idle but still maintain good street manners. I have a B cam avalible to me for free from a friend of mine, but I'm not sure if this will fit my needs. I'm planing on running either a C-4 or an AOD with either 3.50 or 4.10 gears. This will not be a dedicated race car. What cam should I use?
Thanks
Bob

You should probably figure out what the power range you are looking and choose a cam that fits that with the idle that you wish. Figure out the RPM range of those intakes and match a cam to that.

It is my understanding that the camshaft center line is the main factor in determining the type of idle a cam has. The tighter the rougher the idle. So a cam with 107 degrees C/L would have a lopier idle then a cam with 110 degrees C/L. Is this correct?
Thanks
