Review the information on this independent research site and then check around. Personally, I would stay away from a manufacture brokered ESP. In general, unless there is a pro-rated refund available, they are backed by a bond and reinsured + member of the better business bureau, they are worthless. Might as well flush your cash down the toilet.

I would recommend AAAutoWarranty.com http://aaautowarranty.com/ or WarrantyDirect.com http://www.warrantydirect.com/ . Stay away from any listed on the consumer affairs site.

They are more $$, but a Ford ESP is the best, I know, I sell them..Any warranty sold and backed by the manufacturer is the best way to go..I sell aftermarket warranties at my dealership too, they are not bad, but it can be a hassle getting work approved if not at the originating dealer...Go with the Ford backed ESP warranty...

I am not a great fan of such warranties but agree that a Ford dealer is going to be more likely to honor a Ford warranty than somebody elses.
Ask your Ford dealer about honoring the other warranties before you buy.
YOu may have to pay for the work and then let the other company reimburse you. That is a real possibility. Check it out first.
