air compressor ?'s

I got a 2hp 6 gallon air compressor with a max PSI of 125 PSI. I want to get a set of set of air tools. Most of them have an air rachet, impact wrench and air hammer.

I pretty sure it will run the rachet and impact but I don't know how well it will run the air hammer.

You need a compressor that meets or exceds the cfm@psi requirements of the tools.

You will probably not like it with the air hammer. It will take lots of volume to run it and you just won't have that with that small of a tank.

I have 3hp, 26 gallon tank and it has a hard time keeping up with my 1/2 inch air gun, i mean it works fine but the motor will be running quite often, specially with grinders and sanders etc. so most likely you'll have to get yourself a 26G or bigger tank. hope that helps
