Air con blowing out of defrosters and not through the vents

    I have a 1995 Ford Mustang with a v6 engine. Recently when I started the car and put the air con on it would only blow out of the defrosters. What happened? I can't get it to come out the dash vents. What do I need to do to fix it?

    looks like one of your vaccum lines broke or is cracked..check the lines that run along the firewall behind the engine. Mine was doing the same thing and I ended up finding a line that broke in half. I fixed it with a connector from the parts store and everything was good to go.
