Hey guys, my airbag light has been blinking since my rebuild. It's code 32.

I have a suspicion that nothing is actually wrong with it, but I can't find the reset procedure anywhere. I read on newer stangs you can jump a connector under the dash to reset it. Can you do something similar on the fox?

Thanks!

Code 32 in the air bag system is a high resistance in the air bag system. Most likely cause is a broken clock spring (SIR coil) in the column. My guess is you had the column or steering unhooked and turned the steering wheel. Easy fix.

I actually never unhooked the steering column. I was under the dash replacing a master cylinder, but I don't think i broke anything.

Is there a way to test for a bad clockspring? They are a little pricey and I have about 10 other pricey things that need to be replaced.

Thanks!

Hey guys, the light is still blinking. Although now it is code 31: All system air bags open. At least that is what code 31 is for a '92.

Anyone have any ideas what to check? Would this still be a clockspring issue?
