Airbag wiring

I ditched the stock ecu/main harness for an aftermarket computer. By doing so, i lost a few connectors that were part of the main harness. If i go from the crash sensors upfront and match the wire color at the box could i just go straight from the crash sensor to the box? or would this somehow bypass something?

According to a 92 diagram it is a straight shot from the front crash sensors to the diagnostic module.

okay, great, so i CAN keep the air bags. i just wanted to make sure i was not bypassing anything by doing so. should be the same for a 1991?
