Now i know that each dealer is aloted a certain amount of Mustangs a year. Someone correct me if im wrong here but doesnt one that is ordered count toward their allotment for the year? So if your dealer is only alloted say 12 and you were 13 or higher on the list there is a chance you wont see your car, right? Now i am not entirely clear on this so that is why im asking. Do ordered cars count toward a dealerships annual allotment? I know they can get more through dealer trader and such but im talking stricktly what t hey get from ford.

Last question. Those who ordered 05's that are going to be 06's will this affect their allotment of cars as well? How is priority determined for the oders? is it just first come first serve?

    Thanks in advance

If a dealer is allotted 13 GT's and he accepts 13 GT pre orders. He just presold his entire years allotment of GT's.

05 orders did not "roll over" to 06. They each had to be re orderd as an 06. So yes 05's that didn't get rebuilt and then were re orderd as 06's count against the dealers 06 allotment.

Priority numbers are assigned by the dealer. He can assign them anyway he wants to. Generally it's first come first serve, but doesn't need to be like that. My dealer only alloted orders an 11 as the lowest and kept 10 as a dealer priority order. (IE sucker on the line number)
