  • Sponsors (?)

Yeah and they cost about $100 a set and they sell both the fronts and backs separate. So $200 for that? Id rather paint my calipers for $7 and it would still better. This things are ugly.

I saw these things pop up last year on Fnsweet.com where Roush guys with actual 13 and 14" brakes were using em. Didn't like em then, and hoped it wouldn't make its way over to stangnet. But it has, and now they are on 11.8" brakes - man card revoked.

a little more info (should have posted this originally):
  • "Great Custom Styling."
  • 6061-T6 Aerospace Aluminum.
  • Red powder coat finish.
  • Reduces brake dust.
  • Easy install.
  • Fits 1994-2004 V6 & GT's with 16" or larger rims

i felt the need to put the first 'feature' in quotations. i think you all will understand...

so for you auto-x'ers out there...it might not melt but it probably wont hold up very well. i still wouldnt put them on my car, auto-x ready or not

that has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever seen....

1. They are expensive
2. They have no real purpose
3. They are ugly with fake bolts
4. THEY ADD UNSPRUNG WEIGHT FOR NO REASON!
5. Caliper paint just looks better
