I belive my alternator is dead....dont have my volt meter with me, but i started the car then un-hooked the alt from the batt and there was no change in voltage on the dash at all. Before i put it away for the winter was runing at about 8-9volts and would not move at all. Am i safe to assume the alt is tost?? Also is it worth rebuilding or just get a new one.

Did the fuse for the 3G blow, or did the sense circuit's fusible link blow?

Have either the entire system checked at a parts store or take the alt in for a bench test.
Your battery has probably seen better days if it was left discharged over the winter.

Im not sure does anyone have some scematics were there fuse's are located? The batts ok, thats why i love napa warrentys lol

Just because a part is new doesn't mean it's good. I've received brand new batteries that failed a bench test before I even walked out of the store with them.

I'm not sure what you're asking regarding the schematic. Maybe this will help:
