    I kinda like it.....:notnice:
Good example of taking a rare color and making it look like *hit......
Todd's vert is that color but looks amazing in person. That just looks ridiculous and not tasteful at all!!

Hey Robert thanks for the compliments on my cars color, its grown on me quit a bit! :D All I have to say is :jaw: What was this guy thinking  I've never seen a Pimp Daddy Saleen until now! What about that interior??? Wheres the Tiger Dice hanging from the rear view mirror?? I guess the major plus here, is that it is a Real Saleen and seems to put down some good ground burning numbers, but why do all that to a Saleen?????? I guess "To each is own" I'm sure the owner likes! Hey Robert, maybe I should start a Gold car collection like your white car collection??? Oh, that won't work I"ve already got a Black and Red car too in there! If I was to own this car all that owners personal touches, well they would have to go......... Back to how the car came from Saleen! The engine extras I might have to leave! Gee, I wonder if this car will sell for that?????

    Yea,

That car is absolutely foul. All the way around. I agree with Robert. After seeing more of your new gold pig I like it. You do need to call Joe at Chicane though and make an appointment for a 6 speed in that thing. That would be perfect. Just save the AOD for when you sell her down the road.

Honestly, I've seen worse. Much worse, in fact.

Residing in SoCal, I'm certain Marcus & Robert would agree.

Just check out all of the riceStangs or riceSaleens (usually fakes) @ the Saleen or Knott's shows every year.

Perfect examples of the old adage that money cannot buy taste. :nonono:

    Hey,

For a minute there, I thought that was the one at the Saleen Annual Show a couple of years ago. It had the Bullit intake and s/c. Anyone remember that one? Ah, found the pics:

Yes, those are exactly the RiceStangs/RiceSaleens to which I'm referring. :D

And as I expected, both Marcus & Robert have weighed in with a couple of candidates for the "bad taste of the week" award. :SNSign:

Correct!!!! Two different cars Dave. The picture I posted actually is a real Saleen. That's why I posted the pic. Honestly to show how many guys feel the need to ruin a "real" car.

The second car is Elmo's S281 and it's real also. Took a first place award in the 2004 show where we met.

    Different strokes for different folks.

    Marcus,
Are you sure that is a serilized Saleen?? That's Jason's car, that hangs around XMP all the time. Last time I checked, that wasn't based on a Saleen rather a GT. I could be wrong but:

    Yea,

Jasons car. That guy hmmm. I could have swore he started with a real car. I guess not. You are probably correct as I have never seen this car in person. Someone I know said he ruined a real car. :) I thought he swore off XMP. At least that's what sounded like coming outa someones mouth late last year.

I'm fairly certain the X-M-P car is not a Saleen.

I do recall seeing it at the Saleen Inc. show in the past. He's lucky it has a V8 or he would have had to compete one year against my Yellow Rental Car- hehe

I heard it had an '03 cobra motor under the hood making 800+hp...

At one point there was a crowd of about 30 people checking it out.

They said to vote for the car that "Best represents the class".

I thought nothing says "V6 Stang" better than a dirty rental car :)

It placed 4th that year :D

Perhaps I should have washed off the bugs & bird crap...
