annoying beep

i dont know where to post this but i guess its goin here, the sensor that senses that the door isnt closed stopped working, so it beeps all the time and the light stays on, which wire do i have to cut to kill the beeping, i dont have to woory about the light anymore, i took a hatchet to it on the way to work thanks for any help
